If the 13th amendment to the Constitution prohibits slavery, wouldn't that include the draft? Or are we going to say the amendments don't apply to thee government?
If a war is so unpopular that the government can't get enough volunteers to man it, should we be in that war?
Free men will voluntarily fight to protect their country and family in a just cause. Free enlistment in the military is yet another check on government power.

And kind of logical when you consider that conservatives believe in a Divinely appointed right and wrong. You must control yourself or you go to hell.
Liberals believe in human-appointed right and wrong, so that changes all the time or doesn't exist at all so why control yourself? Why learn to concentrate?
