Does Science Argue for or against God?:
Why are we here? Literally. The latest science says we shouldn't be. It says that the chance life exists at all is less than zero. So, is science the greatest threat to the idea of Intelligent Design or is science its greatest advocate? Best-selling author and lecturer, Eric Metaxas, poses this intriguing question and comes up with a very unexpected and challenging answer.

How moral is it for the self appointed elite to deliberately keep the "peasants" ignorant so they can be more easily manipulated, even if it is supposed to be fore the benefit of the country?
See Say reading had already been tested and found to be a failure among hearing students (It was invented to teach the deaf, who have a hard time learning to read with phonics) when it was forced into the government schools.
For that matter, we had a 98% literacy rate before the passage of the first compulsory attendance law (which has been falling ever since), and the system our schools were patterned after was designed to produce obedient soldiers, not literacy.
Government schools are not broken at all. They are functioning exactly as they were designed; producing a large population of people who are so incapable of thinking for themselves they can be easily confused as to which bathroom they should use! And if they can be indoctrinated to become mindless consumers, so much the better!

What to do with California?
Is California worthy of the United States? "Oh, but remember: despite the genuinely good people of that "Golden State," there are those there whose noses are turned upward at those of "flyover country" who just are not good enough for them. But then, what can you do with those squares who believe in real justice?"
I was born in Southern California. Spent 30 years there. I've lived here in Nevada now for 18 years. I would love to kick California out of the real United States...as long as they take Vegas with them!
Vegas has been totally corrupted with the California Anti-American ideas, and as a result, our elections here often go way left. Vegas (and a tiny bit of Reno) are the only places Nevada that are to the left. The entire rest of the state is very conservative. But, then, northern California is conservative, too.
So I purpose that Southern California from just north of San Francisco down and Vegas be made into a new state, minimum, country would be better (they don't like the Founders Ideas as put forth in the Constitution? Fine. Make your own. But don't force me to live under it, or financially support your stupidity). We Northern Nevadans will join with Northern California and make a new state. Culturally, economically, and politically this makes much more sense than the current divisions.
Just give enough warning my 2 brothers still in Ca can move out :-)

Gun control
I have yet to see a proposal that would take guns away from criminals. Only from law abiding citizens.
There is no evidence that fewer guns means less crimes. Quite the opposite, actually. Criminals are evil, not stupid. They choose other ways to prosper if the potential victims can shoot back.
Example: Australia confiscated all the guns and the gun violence fell 50% (ummm, if ALL the guns were removed, shouldn't gun violence have dropped 100%?) but over all violence skyrocketed. Personally, I'd rather be shot than beat to death by a baseball bat.
Switzerland has 8 billion people, and all adults are required to serve 2 years in the military ("Trained to shoot guns of all types") When they leave the service, they have the option of taking their gun (equal to an AR15) with them. They have some 2 billion guns, or, 1 gun for every 4 citizens. They also have the lowest violent crime rate in the world.
Even if we could wave a magic wand and remove all the guns from our country today, tomorrow thousands would be pouring over the border. Heck, we can't keep 200 pound men out. What makes anyone think we can keep guns out?
If you remove the cities with the toughest gun control laws from the stats, America has the lowest gun violence rate in the world. And yes, these shooting happen all over the world (except in Switzerland). Americans are just too myopic to pay any attention to anyone else.
And the protesters from this weekend are in two camps:

- Stupid kids being manipulated by the media and self-appointed elite. They obviously don't even know what they are talking about.
- Those who are doing the manipulating because they think they are part of the elite and will benefit if we are disarmed.
- 18 kids died in school shootings this past month.
- Somewhere between 270-330 teens died texting and driving in the same amount of time. Where are the "Apple is killing our children" and "Ford is guilty of murder" signs? Oh wait, that wouldn't push the elite's agenda. Got it.
- Why aren't we talking about 650 murders in Chicago in the last year? or 290 killed in New York? That's an average of 78 per month in just these two cities. Two cities, by the way, with the toughest gun control laws in the nation. Is it because the victims were blacks killed by blacks? No, actually, I don't think race has anything to do with it. These cities have already bought into the politically correct ideas of "guns bad" and so they are no longer of interest to the media and elites. Who cares about the results as long as they have the right laws? Who cares about the common man cowering defenseless in his living room? He's not important. Their power is.
- What about the 3000 children who had their arms and legs ripped off, or their bodies dissolved in acid, or major arteries cut so they would bleed to death in the last DAY? That's 90,000 in the last month. Of course since their bodies are disposed of off camera (often sold to the highest bidder for medicines, and makeup even), no one cares.
And the fact remains that all shooters are young men from broken homes, raised without a man in the house, seeing a psychiatrist and taking psycho-tropic drugs. These are the issues that need to be addressed. Even if we made it impossible for these disturbed individuals to get guns, they would just build bombs or drive cars into crowds. We need to address the causes of this type of thinking.

Life changes and grows. Some things get bigger and better, some die off to be replaced by new things.
I am a Stylist with Lilla Rose hair accessories. Have been since 2014. They are a quickly growing company and I am in the biggest branch in the company. My uplones have really invested in teaching their people, not just hair stuff, but making your own brand, your own "thing."
Now much of what they have been teaching I have heard from other sources over the last decade, but this time around I am getting the answers for what direction I need to take.
All that to say, I have started a new blog. My heart has always been towards teaching young mothers, so this is the direction I am going with this new blog. It will take a while to really get my feet under me, but it will be worth it.
So, I now proudly introduce:

Predestination vs Free Will
Genesis 2:16-17 And the LORD God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”
God told Adam and Eve they could eat of every tree in the garden except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. 2 options for interpretation:
1) They were not physically able to eat from the tree.
2) The were physically able, but were not allowed to eat of the tree.
Obviously it's number 2. They chose to eat and did. They had the free will to obey or not obey and they chose not.
Human kind was made in God's image. God is not a physical being, though. We were made in His emotional, spiritual image.
Does God have free will? Can He do anything He wants? Or does some other power put limitations on Him? If there is a limiting to God He is not God.
If we are made in his image, then, we are free to do as we wish (within the confines of this physical world, of course. God placed that restriction on us when He put us in physical bodies).
1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
God will always provide a way for us to chose to not sin. It is always our choice because He always makes an option available.
John 7:17 If any man will (choose to) do his (God's) will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
NIV John 7:17 Anyone who chooses to do the will of God will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own.
Joshua 24:15 But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”
Mark 8:34 Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.
Revelation 3:20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.
If, wants, and will mean you have the choice to open or not, to be a disciple or not, to choose God or false gods.
Romans 13:2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.
This doesn't say judgment is brought on those God chooses to bring judgment on. It says if you choose to rebel against proper authority God will punish you.
Romans 10:9-10 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
If means you have a choice not to. This is a persuasive argument that tells you the results of your choices.
Isaiah 55:6-7 Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near. 7 Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.
Again, this is a call to choose to turn from evil.
John 1:12-13 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.
The believing and receiving came first, then the becoming the child of God.
Deuteronomy 30:19-20 This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live 20 and that you may love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the LORD is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
If you choose God you will receive these blessings.
"This offer would be meaningless, even cruel, if we lacked free will. Instead of forcing us to do what he says, God warmly appeals to us:"
Ezekiel 18:30-32 “Therefore, you Israelites, I will judge each of you according to your own ways, declares the Sovereign LORD. Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall. 31 Rid yourselves of all the offenses you have committed, and get a new heart and a new spirit. Why will you die, people of Israel? 32 For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign LORD. Repent and live!
Yet another passionate call for repentance, for choosing God.
Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: (God helps us in our weaknesses) for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. (speaking in tongues)
27 And he that searcheth the hearts (Jesus) knoweth what [is] the mind of the Spirit (The Father) , because he (Jesus) maketh intercession for the saints according to [the will of] God (The Father).
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God (loving God comes first), to them who are the called according to [his] purpose. (He calls us to His purpose after we love Him)
29 For whom he did foreknow (foreknew what? That they would choose to love Him), he also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image of his Son (God determined from teh beginning that those who choose to love Him will become like Jesus), that he (Jesus) might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate (pre decided to become like Christ), them he also called (If you choose to love God, He already decided you would become like Christ and would be given a job to do): and whom he called, them he also justified (when He gives you a job, He declares you to be righteous) : and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
Luke 13:3 ESV "No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish."
Acts 2:38 ESV "And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Wouldn't it be cruel to tell them to repent if God won't let them? Wouldn't it be pointless if they didn't actually have a choice?
