GOP civil war: Intense crackdown on conservatives

GOP civil war: Intense crackdown on conservatives

Common saying in the churches I have grown up in:

If you and I are exactly alike, one of us is not necessary.

If the Republicans are just like the Democrats, one of them should be eliminated as redundant.

I don't know where this idea that the two parties should "get along" and "work together" came from (though I seem to only hear it when it's the Dem's ideas on the voting block). The fact is we are a two party system because there are two major views of government;

  • The federal government should be as big as possible.
  • The federal government should be a little as possible.
What we see in congress today is;

  • The federal government should be as big as possible.
  • The federal government should be as big as possible, but we should be a little slower getting there.
These are not different opinions and leaves those of us that believe in small government without representation.

Congress (and honestly election campaigns) should be a place for discussion, disagreement, telling it like it is. Fling some mud out there! Don't play "nicey nicey;" tell me how horrible the Dem's ideas are and WHY! Otherwise you, GOP,  come across as spineless, selfish, greedy wimps in it only for the money.

It's time for change in the leadership of the GOP. Rinos OUT!
